Man, this cab had my taste buds singing hallelujah! Like rich, melted dark chocolate and raspberries, cedar box on the nose, dry tobacco leaf, cinnamon, dried fig, and a HUGE body, with a well integrated tannin and a gripping finish. Mark Herold, you're a monster of a wine maker! Of course a bit different from Kamen or Heston, but it's clearly his bigger than life style. This should age very nicely and is still aproachable now. Advocate gave it a 93 and so will I! — 9 years ago

Drank while watching original Planet of the Apes with Charleton Heston. Don't know if wine made movie better or if movie made wine better. But thoroughly enjoyed both. Wine was light, fruity and pleasant. Would definitely buy again. — 10 years ago
