Rose that drinks like red wine. This has a fair amount of tannins, and it's a rose! — 10 years ago
Just beautiful. Must have time to open. Big for a Spanish red, very smooth. Lovely to drink, we drank it with lamb. — 11 years ago

12 months in barique, 6 bottles in case, sales for $41.00 about. Pungeant nose, very earthy, wet wool, red fruit, Akilia comes from the word Aguila in Latin. Lots of strawberries and red fruits, very well balanced. 8/10 a bit expensive — 12 years ago
Great wine. Delicious on the front and back. New world style, a little stronger than an old world Spanish wine. Loved it at Casa Mono-NYC! — 10 years ago

Frankincense and myrrh, I feel like I am in a manger scene hanging out with some kings. Toast, roasted wood and oaky aromas open up to spice seasoning with a lashing of salt and acidity. Made in a solera style from multiple vintages this is a unique wine in every way. A heady Viura Rioja blanco experience, I highly recommend it. #newschoolrioja — 9 years ago
