Peppery at beginning. Invented by Fritz Zweigely in 1922 . Cross between two lighted bodied varietals: Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent. Grapes grown near Vienna. More aromatics version of Pinot Noir with scents of cherry and cassis. Opens to complex peppery flavored and gaminess. Very dis friendly. — 10 years ago

A fantastic sancerre rouge. Still a baby too. Very tight upon opening but after a little over an hour, this baby was singing. Also, digging the bougie effect my phone added to this for some reason. Guess it knew this wine was gonna shine.
