Finding myself liking sauv blancs frome chile more and more. Very crisp with good minerality, good hints if melon and grapefruit with some white pepper. Nice easy acidity as well. — 9 years ago

Ried Ruster Umriss Blaufränkisch
Comparing two 2018 BF from two neighboring hills in Rust.
Frome limestone mixed with some clay, aged in large Slavonic oak for 9 months. Organic & biodynamic.
Fresh & inviting with dark cherry, mulberry, a touch of spice, dried orange zest & a herbal whiff.
On the palate this is nicely poised and quite elegant with polished tannins, cherry acidity and an uplifting herbal, slightly minty finish. Dark sweet cherries & damson plums fill the midpalate.
This is very nice with food, but also great for sipping solo. — 4 years ago

First off, delectable has no rating frome anyone on this specific skew, and I forgot to take a picture. This was the Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, 100 case production. This was wine of the night. So much flavor, aroma, and most importantly balance. One of the best Oakville Cabs I've had in some time. I need more wine like this in my life! — 9 years ago

Henney's is a modern cider with roots only back to the 1990s, but they very much make their drinks using g traditional methods of pressing the fruit and using local Herefordshire apples.
This is a delightful amber coloured cider with good apples aromas that show it is real cider with real apples. It is a [very] moreish medium sweet taste with the apples, a little caramel and just enough tartness to make this a real summer stunner.
Adam and Eve may have got in trouble with an apple but Henney's are the Gods of cider. — 3 years ago
