Absolutely smoking hot tonight. Competed with the Mica and Modus Sage Ridge. Coravin’d and presented so well. Soft and pure palate. Blueberry pie nose. Medium tannins with a broad shouldered structure. Nice balance with excellent weight and texture. Bright acidity and sweetness finished off what I considered to be the best vintage I’ve tasted from Sinegal — 9 months ago

Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
KAPOW! Perfection in California Cabernet Sauvignon. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is one of those times. The bouquet is fantastic blackberry rhubarb pie. The huge dark berries upfront are fantastic. The chocolate and vanilla on the bed ballad are like velvet on the tongue. Then that beautiful Okey finish with minimal dryness and a wonderful sweet ending but absolutely no sugar if that makes any sense. This is the after taste that all Cabernet producers try to achieve. well Ehlers have done it. — 6 years ago

Another scorching day, another record temperature falls. Still too hot to go red and I wanted to rock a nice Cabernet. Well...not yet. A little Sauvignon Blanc to battle the heat. And, a warm up to next weeks JP party. On the nose; jasmine, green apple, lemon, lime, pineapple, honey notes, bees wax, soft volcanic minerals and yellow florals. The fruits on the palate are not as pronounced as they are on the nose. Peach, green apple, lemon, lime, pineapple, honey notes, bees wax, soft volcanic minerals, oily body, round acidity & finish with yellow florals. @ no chips & salsa 💃 @Paul Treadway Huntington Beacher — 8 years ago

2011 vintage. Difficult vintage for Napa and environs to be sure. Usual mountain suspects seemed to fare better than valley floor stuff. All that said, more than a few properties re-releasing 2011's out into the wild and they are, generally, drinking very well. Not improving but reaching the top of their respective bell curves. This is one such story. No baby fat left. Serious mineral/earth influences throughout. The nose takes this into hello! territory. The finish signs the deed to the property. Hit this in the next 3-4 years for maximum enjoyment. 02.26.25. — 10 months ago

2015. Good, but can’t compare with the 2014 we had at Sonoma Mission Inn in Sept 2019. Wouldn’t buy again for $50. — 7 years ago

As a nod to Karen (who some will remembered worked at Louis M. Martini decades ago—and is the nicest and best person to ever work in the wine industry) we opened this for my birthday. Paired it with a Tri Tip. It was a nice pairing. Good cab. It was better a couple years ago but still nice to drink for a special occasion. — 8 months ago
