Delicious. Light but flavorful. Would order again in a heartbeat — 9 years ago
The best bubbles I have ever tasted. VC is an all around must have but this vintage is so perfectly smooth. It's crisp, bubbly, but it literally rolls across the tongue and down the throat. It's body is too smooth to be round. I would have this in a heartbeat. — 10 years ago

Fantastic Turkish wine that opened beautifully over the course of our meal. Would drink order it again in a heartbeat. — 7 years ago
The only thing I really thought of while enjoying this one was "you know, if there was ANOTHER decanter, I would decant this one in a heartbeat." This Chardonnay was full bodied, buttery, and unfortunately was a little locked down. I think I was getting a lot of melon, mango, honeydew. Rather malolactic in the way it coated the palate. I was impressed by this one, but probably the most impressed as to how this one was still a 13 and in great need of more time or time in a decanter! The bones are here, and are solid. But I really think this one needs more time than anything else. Drink 2019-2023. — 8 years ago
So so yummy and so so cheap. Would buy a case of this in a heartbeat — 9 years ago
Still such a beautiful and amazing wine, this is the best iteration of a Hirsch Pinot Noir that exists (imo), plenty of youthful fruit, but a sauce and finely textured wine that might be peaking but is nowhere near the finish line. I'd go back and buy more in a heartbeat.
To me Lioco as a producer is definitive of what the best Burgundian varietals can do in California, not to mention some of the other grapes they work with. — 9 years ago
I'm not big Chardonnay fan. I'd get this one again in a heartbeat. (v 2010) — 10 years ago
Another win from Channing Daughters. Crisp and refreshing chard with lovely stone fruit and acidity. Not overpowering but has depth. Would buy again in a heartbeat. — 10 years ago
1996 Dujac Charmes Chambertin. Dinner at Off Br w Mom & Dad. Didn’t decant, it benefited from time in the glass. Absolutely epic. K says he’d buy more in a heartbeat. — 7 years ago
Screaming value here, folks. Those with a low Brett threshold need not apply, but the funk does recede into the background with some air eventually revealing some very sweet, pretty fruit. Some lovely violet and lavender nuances come through on the nose. Wonderful acidity, subtle minerality. There’s great structure throughout, yet a remarkable palate-coating softness in texture. I would buy a case of this in a heartbeat. Some for casual dining, some for pure enjoyment, some for mid-term aging. Total winner. — 8 years ago
Very very nice Sancerre. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Enjoyed it with tilapia and brussel sprouts. Claudia and Susan liked it too. — 9 years ago
Javier's recommendation for Dorian's brunch. Would buy again in heartbeat — 9 years ago
Not a complex flavor but still rich and full. It went really well with the peppery steak I served it with! I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. — 10 years ago

Was almost sure that this one was done. However, after opening the cork and getting a whiff of this one, I became pretty excited. This one pours a maroon color into the glass. Nose of sweet plum and blackberry. Entry is sweet plums and dates. A small amount of tart underripe blackberry but this was not the primary note. Middle is rather full bodied, and was surprisingly complex. A little bit of pipe tobacco, a little bit of sweet milk chocolate. Finished with reasonable acidity, even a little bit of sweet toasted tannin. one of the handful of Texas reds that I would buy again in a heartbeat. — 7 years ago
