The palate is where the California fruit shows off. Juicy flavors of strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, and touches of citrus and peach balanced out by big, juicy acidity and just a touch of stony minerality. Amazing pineapple and honeydew on the nose. Slight dryness, oakiness, butteriness and pineappleness (yes, pineappleness) on the palette. All the best ness' lol. This is a really, really delicious wine. Plus, it's pairing extremely well with the bits of cold leftover turkey I'm snacking on.
