Very fruity, more strawberries than plum and cherry. Not bad. With Bon. — 5 years ago
First stop on our MD trip this year was to Aperture Cellars in downtown Healdsburg.
First of the single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings we tasted at Aperture Cellars with Lauren.
Deep ruby red. Layered nose with ripe berries, dark cocoa, tobacco leaves, leather and cinnamon with an earthy undertone. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Lots of fall spices on the palate with some dark cocoa and blackberries. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2032.
Tasted at the tasting room and retails for $95.00.
@Delectable Wine this is the Del Rio Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. — 6 years ago
A beautiful, bright crisp rose. On the nose the classic notes of strawberry and watermelon with just a touch of citrus. The palate is crisp and bright with wonderful, fresh acidity. The palate is where the California fruit shows off. Juicy flavors of strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, and touches of citrus and peach balanced out by big, juicy acidity and just a touch of stony minerality. The finish is fresh and slightly herbal with nice juiciness and great acidity. Wonderful wine with fish tacos. — 7 years ago
Amazing pineapple and honeydew on the nose. Slight dryness, oakiness, butteriness and pineappleness (yes, pineappleness) on the palette. All the best ness' lol. This is a really, really delicious wine. Plus, it's pairing extremely well with the bits of cold leftover turkey I'm snacking on. The sweetness from the pineapple is balancing out the spiciness from the jalepeño quite nicely 😊 — 7 years ago
From Healdsburg. Very smooth, tasty. Not very floral. — 8 years ago
Mike Officer wanted to create a blend that represents the 3 unique old vine vineyards in the Piner-Olivet crossing of the Russian River Valley. This is the first vintage and what a success. This is just insanely good and represents everything there is to love in RR zin. A field blend of everything from all 3 vineyards it’s rich and lush, full of black fruits but balanced by acidity and never heavy and not clocking above 15%. A real show of great terroir, old vines, and fine winemaking. — 6 years ago

Must get better with time. I like it! I'm not a pro, but would suck this stuff down on a beach somewhere... 2009 — 8 years ago
Hope family began their planting’s in 1978 & sold wine under the Hope Family label directly from winery's tasting room. In 1990 the Hope ranches became the sole source of fruit for Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1996, they founded Treana Winery. Blend of 75% Cab Sauv & 25% Syrah. Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet berry & spice notes. On the palate flavors of currants and ripe berry with cacao, pepper and vanilla spice. Full body, rich tannins, good balance ending on the spicy side, better after decant. — 4 years ago
