Some of the happiness may indeed be because I've been a little to Californian lately. Occupational hazard. This has got pretty violet aromas mixed with herbal notes of pine and faint rosemary. Palate reflects aromas, adding dried cranberries, leather and tobacco notes. Good tannic grip. — 12 years ago

Yup! I found this at the local Asian specialty store, next to white wine in the beer fridge... marked $2.99! I picked up 7 bottles. Super glad I did! This is the hazard of having an uninformed wine program manager in a market who doesn't know what they are doing... Needless to say, I am not mixing this Chinon with cola! — 12 years ago
