Fruity, smooth, not sweet and jammy. Very low tannins. Medium to light body for a zin. Katie and Didier brought it from Cali — 7 years ago

Interesting. Our first sparkling Viognier. Looking forward to more. Edit: on further review, it was discovered that we had previously enjoyed a sparkling Viognier, also from Hawley, but from 2018. Thoroughly enjoyed both. — 5 years ago
2011 Vintage. 53% Syrah, 32% Mourvèdre, 15% Grenache. 15.1% alcohol. Another great 2011, skilled winemakers did best. “It’s been a crazy year,” said vintner Scott Hawley of Torrin, recounting an unusually cool year in Paso Robles and a late frost that hurt several vineyards. But it’s the low yields that appear to be the big story in Paso in 2011. "We harvested anywhere from 33 percent to 50 percent of our typical production,” said Terry Hoage of Terry Hoage Vineyards. “Ouch!"” — 6 years ago
Great acid. Vibrant red fruit on entry and mid-palate. Could go another 5-7 years! — 8 years ago
Very nice Zin. Goes down easy -berries, chocolate and 14.8% alcohol. Food not necessary. Lol — 8 years ago
Out of double magnum. Still has some nice fruit at 15 with some well-integrated tannin and good complexity. Perfect with our lamb dinner and the guests loved it. — 9 years ago
