Le Prestige Coteaux du Languedoc Saint-Drézéry Grenache Syrah 2013

9.0

In an attempt to "hang" with my wine distributor friend tonight, I ventured out of my comfort zone with this syrah grenache blend and was pleasantly surprised. RP-kissed this one for a reason - big and bold - aromatic - a very good value drinkable. Paired nicely with my salmon and spinach salad. By day, I seek value in the bond market to pass along to my customers, so this got me thinking: what is/are the best value wine(s) you're drinking right now?? #sharethelove — 9 years ago

That's a tough one Meg. So many great chefs in this town. The 3 we frequent the most would be- 1. FIG. 2. The Macintosh 3. McCrady's.

Thanks! I'll figure out what they charge for shipping. I've got a friend that orders wine from France and it is actually pretty reasonable. Then again, will be an hour and a half away this fall in the Medoc/Bordeaux region. :)

Great stuff, after some time in the glass it seems there is some excessive oak. But still a great wine. — 10 years ago
