Light strawberries and raspberries with effervescence. Mild tannins that hold up to braised meat. Yum. — 4 years ago

Mission Old Vine Cabonic Red Blend

WOW. This is my kind of wine ;) cloudy, weird, unexpected! What a great color. Smells like the Pacific Ocean and tastes like salty, briney, cranberries. So good. — 6 years ago

Nice fruit but not overpowering like too many versions of Grenache. Love the spice. Really enjoyed this wine from a great guy. — 7 years ago

Impatiently picking and eating strawberries that are still white on the top. Grittiness like panning for gold on a hot day in gold country. — 6 years ago

I maybe (definitely) sat on this one a little too long, but still lovely. Didn’t drink like a 14% alcohol wine (a good thing in my book.) — 6 years ago

Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2006

Had the 2006 pinot.
One of the better pinot I have had.
Think I paid around 70 for it in 2008 or 9.
Would like to find more.
Cheers

Stori Pinot Noir 2011

Bright aromas of sour cherry and plum with hints of white flowers. Bright and juicy on the palate. Juicy cherry and plum flavors lead to notes of spice. The finish is long and slightly spicy. — 9 years ago

Gramercy Cellars

Olsen Vineyard Rosé Blend 2017

The 2017 Gramercy Cellars Rosé is a blend of 44% Cinsault, 31% Grenache and 25% Syrah, all sourced from the Olsen Vineyard. This pale colored Rose begins with a bouquet of white peach, red cherry candy and watermelon with a slightly smoky edge. The minerality is fantastic, as is the gorgeous mouthfeel. Balanced, showing good weight, the Rose unveils red cherry, cran-orange and rose water flavors. This is another outstanding wine made by the talented winemaking team of Greg Harrington and Brandon Moss. Drink 2019-2024 — 5 years ago

Marzemino 2013

Christopher Losa
9.0

At least 3 points added to the rating just because somebody had the guts to make a domestic Marzemino. Deliciously inky and blue fruity, though misses a bit on the stoney mineralty of traditional Marzemino (but then again it's not grown in the shadows of the Dolomites). — 9 years ago

Kudos to Greg Harrington! Wow! So 2011 was a "difficult" vintage. This wine is spectacular. Red raspberry compote with gooseberries and some other red fruits. Deep and dark with some incense and pepper. Did I say "Wow!"? Yes! — 9 years ago
