On 10/2, Cathy & I visited on our Central Coast trip the tasting room at Cambria Estate Winery. Hannah poured us an impressive lineup of wines. The notes will be brief. The '11 Cambria Chardonnay 'Clone 96' showed nice bright citrus aromatics with crisp acidity on the refreshing finish. — 11 years ago
HOLY HANNAH! It's not often one can say that paying $475 for a bottle of Burgundy in a restaurant is reasonable but given how great this wine is it sure as hell was--PHENOMENAL! — 12 years ago

The last wine Hannah poured for us was the '12 Cambria Pinot Noir 'Bench Break'. A very solid and representative Santa Maria Valley Pinot, this bottle displayed black fruit and floral aromas before fading to a clean fresh finish. We're so happy we disregarded the misguided suggestion by a nameless competitor to bypass Cambria. It was a one of the highlights of an awesome trip. — 11 years ago

The Quintessence of Cabernet. If anything was truly the manifestation of a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, it's this 2007 Cuvée Claire from arguably the most historically significant winery in the valley. Profound cassis and vanilla depth with gripping texture might have even moved Hannah Weinberger to tears. — 10 years ago
Smooth finish and rich. Very nice — 11 years ago
