@Kevin Robbins thanks for these bottles... so young but so good.... — 6 years ago
Really unfortunate to get a barrage of ads for unrelated products (video games) while trying to input this, @Delectablewine Delectablewine. I understand the need to monetize, but seriously, optimize your targeting a bit better than that. We expect a bit more intelligence from an app devoted to sharing and appreciating fine beverages. Overstuffing the free version--that many of us have been using for years--with unrelated ads to prod us towards paid premium only builds ill-will. I'm considering going back to handwritten wine journals à la Michael Broadbent, or even Instagram.
This baby Brunello is well-integrated, full of luscious dark cherry and leather notes. Medium finish. Should develop well over ten years. — 7 years ago
Gorgeous! Sorry--this batch of German wines are from TexSomm and this is all my handwritten note said! — 10 years ago
2011 Handwritten Wines Late Harvest Chardonnay, Carneros — 11 years ago
I promise this is the last of 17 wines I tasted at De Martino. Also, the end of reading and retyping my handwritten notes vs. copying and pasting into Delectable. Additionally, last day of slow Wi-Fi. Yeah!
On the nose; slightly sour, ripe fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, strawberries, blue hues, touch of pyrazines, vanilla and red florals.
The body is full. The tannins meaty. Dark cassis, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, strawberries, blue hues, dark cherry licorice, savory meats, smoke, dark soil, crushed rocks, loamy dry top soil, dry stems, good acidity and a nicely balanced, round finish.

Handwritten label red Sancerre tasting of carrot greens and crunchy firm red currants — 9 years ago
2003 Pinot Noir, Nysa Vineyard, Ken Wright Cellars. I absolutely adore old pinots. A bouquet of dark chocolate and earthy mushrooms. This unfiltered and very small batch (literally handwritten label) left a bit of sediment in the glass! I live seeing that! 10/10 just wonderful. — 6 years ago
Holy shit, is this real?!!
2015. Tasted twice — first in September from the barrel at the Domaine and then in Los Angeles in February, still a cask sample. Huge progress, absolutely dreamy wine, superb quality, most beautiful of pallets (I've never had a chance to taste a wine so young twice in 6 months), captivating, charming and heart-breakingly gorgeous, it had me on the hook like a junkie waiting for more. And that cute handwritten "1" on the label just adds to the picture. — 7 years ago
On point. Who doesn't love a bottle with a handwritten vintage tag anyway? — 9 years ago
