Wow. Great fruit, mellowed tannins and acid. Luxurious, like a Rolls Royce. — 11 years ago

The 2012 is not the Trader Joe's version mentioned in 2009 reviews. We are loving the balance between the fruit and butterscotch finish, which comes through in a Hampton Inn paper cup. — 11 years ago

From Everson Royce, this is my first Cru AOC Rhone wine and it is the best Syrah I've had to date. Strong Concentration, dark fruits like currant, Fig and Plum, not too earthy but with perfectly balanced minerality and fruit forward characteristics. Not too tannin-heavy but rich and full bodied. I wish I had another bottle to drink immediately. — 13 years ago
A very light bodied Chablis. Sauvignon Blanc esque. Another Hampton favorite. — 13 years ago
Very good wine. Will improve dramatically with aging. Still very tight, robust tannins, amazing fruit, complexity. Probably the "Rolls Royce" of the Super Tuscans. — 11 years ago

We discovered this winery Holus Bolus/Hocus Pocus/Genuine Risk from Everson Royce. We had a private tasting in their Lompoc Wine Ghetto garage and fell in love. This very affordable Roussanne is smooth and beautifully drinkable with hints of honeysuckle, peach and maple. Not sweet but also not tart-perfectly balanced. This is a white wine for any occasion. Goes very well with spicy food - we first had this with Quinoa Chili. — 13 years ago

The big flagship wine from one of the best vintages 2002. Honey brioche, toasted bread, nutty characters. Lovely balance, softness and freshness of fruit. Power but with grace. Vibrant floral expression - touch of lemon citrus but not over the top. This is a Rolls-Royce! Long cellar potential 15+ years. 93-94 points. — 11 years ago

Italian Wine from a tasting at Everson Royce. Excellent balance, not acidic, tastes more like a California fruit forward than an Italian. Only 25 cases, excellent drinkable wine. — 13 years ago
