I was just poured a sip but it was delightful — 9 years ago
Cannot believe we found this wine again! Brings back amazing memories of being in Kew Gardens, listening to the Gypsy Kings, and sipping this complex and elegant blockbuster! Fresh star fruit, pistachios, almonds, pineapple, orange blossom, lemon rind, mango, the list goes on, on, and on. Fantastic find! My first 10 point rating. — 9 years ago
Red fruit and roses on the bouquet. Very light and fresh without too much acid. Had with some pho. — 9 years ago

Great but small distribution Pinot. One of the early Santa Rita Hills' Pinots. Great fruit on the nose. 2008 drinking very well. Unique bottle is just an added extra touch. — 8 years ago
Malty, bitter dark chocolate lifted by a nice tart finish — 9 years ago
Understand the wine maker raises honey bees. The honey flavor is evident among the other classic Pinot Noir qualities.

(***) beads of perfume and musk from the neck of a gypsy dancer; salty, roasted hamon wafts in the background; chewy red raspberry and a sting from 15.5% abv. Aerate for 1 hour. Play "Malagueña" as you sip. — 10 years ago
The name means Gypsy, a wine made for me. — 11 years ago
Explosion of boysenberry and black currant. Very fruit driven. Nice balance. Smooth. Not my style, but very good for its genre. — 11 years ago

Onomatopoeia like oompf, bam and kaplow. Mega! Yellow flowers, yellow apples, apricot, clovers and tinge of gypsy tears. — 8 years ago
2011 Sol Rouge Gypsy Rouge. This month's Gold Label Wine Club Plus wine is a very earthy blend, punctuated by the Grenache. It has an almost metallic finish. It's smooth throughout and I like that the flavor evolves from start to finish. — 9 years ago
Touch of melon, peach — 10 years ago
That's not the pinot. That's the Angelica. — 10 years ago

Interesting curiosity: newish cork, producer branded! yet no vintage printed!! So, vintage unknown, source believed as reliable (restaurant), team believed this to be equivalent to pre-1985, possibly late 1970s. Here's what I can say: Hello a Sexy Gypsy! Mysterious and unknown. — 12 years ago
