Very much alive and drinking really well. The nose was mostly toffee and oloroso, with some black fruit accents. On the palette, plums, mulberry, oloroso, and very lively acidity. A real treat to drink in such fine condition

Amazing color and flavors. Would have maybe guessed 60-70s blind. Not that I know what a 1920s Burgundy should taste like but the experts at the table were doubting the authenticity of the etiquette. Still a great bottle though. — 8 years ago
