2013: dry, lively and fresh. Reminds me of a Gru V with vegetal notes of rocket, salad leaf, white pepper and with Limey, grapefruit notes. Good acidity, vibrancy, and cleanliness, very minerally — 11 years ago
Great wine and value without being Grand Gru or 1st Gru — 12 years ago
Petty good montepulciano for my pre half drink! — 12 years ago
Enjoyable little medium bodied Gru. Green apple, feintest of pear and lime zest nose. Crisp acidity in the gob with touches of again green apple, and tangy grapefruit — 11 years ago
Winner of recent Gru-V tasting. Impressive. Chardonnay-like creaminess with the zing of GV. — 12 years ago
Yes, it says Grand Gru, not Grand Cru! It's a gorgeous GV, fuller body of creamy(er) mouth feel and golden apple notes. A special treat for not a lot of money! — 11 years ago
San Diego getting down on the Alsace grand gru!! — 11 years ago
From our friends at Salon, this sparkler is 90% grand gru Chard with the balance in red grapes and it smells like it too. It has a great yeasty Chard nose with hints of lemon and reminds me of an English-style cuvée with its toasty notes with great lemon backing acid. Though labelled brut this is more at brut nature so lean is the dosage. I love it: shuck some oysters and lets get after it! — 12 years ago
