I could want more complexity to bump this above 90 points, but as is, it is a fine wine with a dark berry nose that shades to sweet dark plum on the palate with a hint of bacon and correspondingly nice acid. A less warm year would no doubt have yielded a more nuanced palate. — 10 years ago
