Looking at the decanter made my heart rate step up a few beats as I saw the most beautiful translucent wine. (I apologize for not including a filled glass in the picture) The first sniff told me all I needed to know that this was a winner . Beautiful scents of roses, red cherries and mushrooms that increased in intensity during the 5 hours it spent in the decanter. In the mouth the holy grail for me, great complexity combined with freshness. Red fruit , tobacco balsamic and leather all playing together. Just imagine the greatest symphony performed by the greatest orchestra. I am sure emotion played into my score. Served blind but many guessed Nebbiolo however when they saw the vintage their jaws hit the floor. — 9 years ago

A semi-sparkling, delicate and delicious rose. Excellent with appetizers, fish and shellfish. — 9 years ago
Hard mentha edge, yet full of classic favors that should develop with time. But quite yum now. — 11 years ago

Yummmm thank you Heather and Darren — 12 years ago
Great minerality and acid - honeysuckle on the nose and citrus/apple on the palate. Paired with baked cod terrifically. — 7 years ago
Birthday wine tasting-not a bad bottle in the bunch! We had two mags of this and well. It was disappointing. Not a lot of fruit or structure. They weren’t shot just sort of there. It really stood out against the Conterno and flaccianello — 8 years ago
Exceptional! Silky with mild tobacco and dried fruit — 11 years ago

I probably didn’t decant long enough. I knew it was young but I wanted to try. It still needs time, but it shows great promise. — 7 years ago
