thank you @Tina Dang. a much appreciated welcome home. — 9 years ago
Nose: very nice garrigue suddenly evident: time, rosemary, stew meat; then red/black berries – clearly smells of steak! (in a good way)
Palate: bright and smooth tannins with good acidity. Medium body. Good acidity. Good balance of everything of the previous.

2015. Tasted and purchased from the domaine in Beaucaire, France. My favorite of their whites. Pale gold color. Light aroma of tropical yellow fruit and white flowers. The palette is full of flavor: juicy yellow apple and little tart pineapple, cleansing acidity, and a nice medium dry finish with some stony minerality. Like bottled sunshine from the south of France. Blend of viognier from Pont du Gard, roussanne, and petit manseng (the latter two are grown on plots around the winery where wildflowers grow next to grapes). 14.5% ABV. — 9 years ago
Sooo good with Coq and Belly, really brings out the char!! — 9 years ago
Nose: all the burgundy minerality then citrus, vanilla, oak flavours, hint of grapefruit
Palate: vanilla and nice oak (good balanced with mineral) since the fist sip, then a bit of butter , smooth acidity, citrus

Tannins, beautiful body, great fruit on the back end. It's a Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache blend. Drinking in Montpellier, France. — 9 years ago
@ 5 euro an incredible value - if you live in Montpellier and buy it at the local store! Here In the US, good luck finding something comparable. — 10 years ago
Lovely dark ruby. Dates and a bit of raisin supported by mint and mineral. Med + body with gentle tannin. Round, but not soft. Awesome. — 10 years ago
I like my Grenache like I like my women; easy & enjoyable. The sommelier at Balthazar in NYC chose this for our table (duck confit, cheeseburger, steak tartare, kidney pie) & it was absolutely perfect. — 10 years ago

Manure. Leather. That old world funk, all up in my nose. I love it. Pair it with the deep, dry black fruit in the mouth, and I'm transported back to a quiet evening in Carcassonne. — 8 years ago
