DuMOL's 25 acre sustainably farmed Estate Vineyard is located on an east-facing slope on the appellation's famous ridgelines. Aged for 12 months on French oak (30% new), blended from 6 vineyards, pale straw with green edges revealing stone, tropical and citrus aromas with white floral notes. On the palate melon, tart peach and orange flavors with spice and oak. Lingering finish ending with finesse. Drinking well.. — 8 years ago

Bouquet spot on for Margaret River Chardonnay. Palate starts a little green with plenty of acid perhaps suggesting another 4 years required in the bottle. Finish is smooth and delicious and runs well over a minute.
Don't drink it too cold - let it warm a little.

Bright acidity, still a little green but wonderful. Would like to see how it evolves in a year. Visited the tasting room for Ellory’s bachelorette and had a lovely time. Beautiful space, knowledgeable staff and intimate setting with long live edge table for tasting and handmade wooden chandeliers from found branches 😍 dreamy — 8 years ago
16' Rochioli Sauvignon Blanc. Not quite 60% of this SB comes from vines planted in 1959. Three single vineyards in total.
Palate- Lemon, green apple, grapefruit, tangy & zesty. Dusty minerality throughout the palate. Perfect amount of acidity. The finish is long & lingers for a bit. Perfect pairing with swordfish. Very enjoyable bottle.
Edit- Let it warm up and open up for about 20 minutes in your glass. — 8 years ago

Delicious Chardonnay with a delicate hint of peaches and green apples on the nose. Buttery notes followed by fresh cut grass and an almost nutty feeling on the tongue. Finishing with wet rocks and minerals, a very bold but delicate young wine. Paired wonderfully with fish and vegetables — 9 years ago

Buttery, well balanced for a chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Found another '14 bottle, continuing to develop nicely. Bright straw yellow with aromas of fresh fruit, stone fruits and citrus with floral notes. On the palate, complex flavors, full and rich with peach, green apple, mango and vanilla spice. The wine had a soft mineral taste with nutty toasty oak, noting that the wine sat on French oak, (40% new). The finish was smooth with great texture and balance, time in the cellar will add benefit, an outstanding offering from Patz & Hall. — 8 years ago
