This is the real beer, from Alpine, not Green Flash, picked up at the brewery, much better, not as good as their Nelson, but very good — 9 years ago
Agreed. Hop monster. Rounds nicely with hints of caramel. — 10 years ago
2015 release, pink label, Treasure chest, profits for Brest cancer, One the most tropical IPA's I ever had, prickly pear, Hibiscus, grapefruit, very little malt backbone to balance the hops, but that is a good thing, low AVB, very smooth, refreshing and tasty, nice floral hops, mosaic hops, I really liked it, I love Hibiscus, those who do not, maybe will not like this beer as much as I do, Great Beer, Great cause — 10 years ago
Super hops meets super stout. Very hoppy, chocolate, and hints of coffee. — 10 years ago
Nice green apple flash with luminary acidity... Caressing and pervasive... I deplore Chardonnay, but this silences me. Sip, sip... — 11 years ago
The label claims 6 lbs. of hops per barrel...crazy. — 11 years ago
Delicate with green pepper. — 11 years ago
Light but flavorful. Great beer. — 11 years ago
True to the name. A very nice west coast hoppy brew. Green Flash is great! — 12 years ago
Heavy body for a Sauvignon blanc. Nice citrus and green elements. — 9 years ago
Nice medium bodied, less extracted version, less oak. Comparing to lots of CA Cabernet. Priced well. Bottle drained quickly. Touch of green detracts. — 9 years ago
Very solid IPA, this celebrates the one year anniversary partnership between Green Flash and Alpine, of course if you still want Alpine beer, you will have to go to their brewery, good news is, this lends more to the Alpine style of IPA's then Green Flash, using the proprietary Alpine yeast strain, a very good start, hope they continue to be as good and better in future brews, big hop profile, Mosaic, Citra, Simco and El Dorado hops, 7% ABV, 55 IBU's feels and taste bigger, big wow factor for me, only paid $1.99 for this bomber — 10 years ago
Pine, hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and a touch skunk but great with Sichuan! — 10 years ago
Good acid. Green strawberry. — 10 years ago
Very west coast, very good west IPA, if you like your IPA's more on the tropical taste profile, like I do, you will love this, big pineapple, mango, orange, grapefruit, — 11 years ago
You really get the aroma of green tea, but not so much the flavor of it. The flavor is different, but you wouldn't be able to identify it unless told it was green tea. Has a slight bitter taste from the alcohol, but overall really good. I'd definitely drink it again. — 11 years ago
Belgian dubbel, IPA blend. Awesome. — 11 years ago
Co fermentation of Petit Manseng and Chardonnay. Grassy with notes of green apple. — 12 years ago
No surprise to find green aromas in a franc, especially in 2011, but this has enough texture and depth to balance it out. — 9 years ago
A polished mahogany bust of the female Tom Green, washed with milk, and set on the mantle of a fireplace filled with bubbles. — 9 years ago
Good flavor, not too much rye but definitely there. Hearty imperial, very full-bodied. — 10 years ago
Pearls, vintage Chris Craft, night time ride across the lake, low moon flashes behind the trees, underwear in your pocket this time. The green flash of the aurora borealis comes out of nowhere, a slow serpentine sine-wave pulsing across the Milky Way. — 10 years ago
Detta är något för oss @Martin Augustini !b — 10 years ago

87 vintage drank so tightly knit and focused. Cedar, bit green pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, eucalyptus notes. At 13.2% alcohol and nearly 28 years young...youthful and plush with lovely clean flavors. A treat! — 11 years ago
I love almost everything green flash, but this is exceptional. The cedar adds a different kind of bitterness than hops can, and more depth. Very, very good. — 11 years ago
Great great brew from the big up and coming brewery in San Diego, so many great breweries in SD, this is like all they do, Fantastic stuff, almost perfect double/ imperial IPA, get this brew right now!!! — 11 years ago
Nice green apple. Balanced acid. Just enough oak. Very nice. — 13 years ago
Spencer Cutter
Wonderful finding this bottle after forgetting it was there. Still fresh but with the distinct hazelnut notes that come with age. Light gold in color.medium nose with notes of lemon, cream brûlée, hazelnut, green apple and honeysuckle. Medium body, alcohol and acidity. Medium plus finish. Reminds me of a younger R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva. — 8 years ago
