In a great spot right now. Great balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. A full bodied wine. Thanks for sharing Dave! — 8 years ago
Single parcel just outside the CNDP appellation boundary. High-toned aromas, structured CDR with elevated yet ripe tannin. Kirsch, powdered sugar, lavender, stoney minerality, sweet spice. Great value, approachable — 9 years ago
Intense aromas of bacon, dried black fig, black cherry, licorice, smokiness, lots of black peppers....definitely dried fruit driven aromas. med body, med plus acidity, med p intensity, moderate plus amount of spiciness comes with delicious black fruit and oak tannins-which are melted perfectly delicously at this moment-, moderate tannins, layer of bitterness and driness on the end...Great glass wine, that can be paired with lamb chop with touch of salsa spiciness, 깐풍기!!! Yum! — 9 years ago

Great bottle to keep around for casual dinners! Had with home made burgers last night. — 11 years ago
Great length and finesse coupled with rasp and blueberries. Detect an aromatically "wet" quality maybe from cement aging. Perfect way to end the flight! Thank you Sophie :) — 12 years ago
This is basically the house red at Chez LuLu and we usually get a bottle when we go there for dinner. Pairs great with their wild mushroom & lamb sausage pizza and also with the beef stew dish. Solid choice for an inexpensive cotes du Rhône. — 8 years ago

Decanted for approximately 40 minutes. Blend of Syrah, Grenache, and a smidgen of Mourvèdre. The best vintage of this I think I’ve had. Generous with the red and black fruits, soft but firming tannins on the back end and posses a long finish. Great structure and balance. Surprised that I found a vintage of this age for a basic CDR at a grocery store and it is showing really well. Fantastic QPR. $14 @ H-E-B. — 7 years ago
