Lemon, grassy herbal note / minerality and acid late-palate — 6 years ago
That's really nice. Tart, bright and grassy. The way I like em. — 7 years ago
Very unique Sauvignon Blanc and not like any other NZ example I've ever tasted, but it's incredible. Still has the ripping acid, despite going through battonage and Malo. Beautiful jalapeño, melon, grapefruit, and grassy-ness. — 7 years ago
Elegant and grassy Sauvignon Black from NZ — 8 years ago

Tart refreshing grassy — 9 years ago
Intense aroma and flavors of apples and peaches. Grassy green finish that pretty much punches you in the face. My first NZ Sav Blanc, And so interesting I couldn't stop sipping. Will buy again soon! — 9 years ago
Minty, acacia flowers, grassy, intense. Very elegant and harmonious- I taste everything I expected. Great. — 10 years ago
Like drinking the color green. Ultra flinty and grassy aromas of green pepper, basil, fresh cut lime, mint and white pepper. Freshness and cut are brilliant, and there is a stern stoniness about this vintage that registers full-throttle intensity. Always a classic, and a superb value. — 6 years ago
Excellent Sauv Blanc, strong grassy and citrus on the nose, and bracing minerality and austere acidity somewhat dry. Lovely. — 7 years ago
Has the grassy grapefruit you would expect from a NZ SB but it's complimented greatly with the taste of a sweeter stone fruit like guava. Grade A 10/10 would buy again. — 7 years ago
Earth Fare. Light sav blanc not grassy but good citrus fruit and clean. — 8 years ago
A favorite Sauvignon Blanc. Light, fresh and crisp with citrus and grassy notes. Great value! — 8 years ago
17- So clean and refreshing! More minerality than a Sancerre or NZ Sauvignon Blanc, not grassy at al. Great w fish. — 9 years ago
Always a bargain for the price, VM delivers what one expects from NZ SB, with bright lemon lime flavored and rich grassy tannins. — 9 years ago
Mmmmm. Apples, pears and grassy notes. Tart but not overpowering — 10 years ago
Dynamic Sauv blanc - reminds me of cloudy bay w/ a little less acid and green character. Nose starts as pure guava and passion fruit, yielding to increasingly more grassy aromas as it warms (from green bean to grass to green bell pepper). Acid is moderate. More guava and pineapple on the palate, grass is moderate...definitely there but pleasantly dialed in for me. A touch bitter. Surprisingly fat for a Sauv blanc. This is a fun one if you keep her cold. — 11 years ago
Grassy citrus grapefruit bomb! Dry and delicious with shellfish. — 6 years ago
Typical SB style with citrus and tropical fruit aromas adding some grassy notes. I think a small amount of Semillion blended for body and texture (their limited release has Semillion). On the palate melon and grapefruit flavors with citrus zest, very crisp. The wine was about medium in length ending with earthy notes and minerality tones. Pleasant. — 8 years ago
Grassy, jalapeños. M+ acid, lemon, spice. Beautiful. — 8 years ago
Yum! I disagree with the reviews below, this wine reminds me of NZ Sauvignon Blanc! Grassy, herbal, honey and apples. Very different and a nice surprise for the money. — 9 years ago
A great Marlborough County Sauvignon Blanc. Grapefruit, grassy. — 9 years ago
Would definitely agree with grassy and a bit acidic — 10 years ago
Exactly what I wanted this to be- funky, feral, cab franc- bret-y, barnyard, and grassy, with a deep berry core. Was perfect from a 2001 magnum at an outdoor brunch on a warm CA day. Uber-natural winemaking, on the edge of what I can classify as "enjoyable" — 11 years ago

Refreshing and crisp. Grassy and citrus. This was recommended to me at a wine shop and I was not disappointed. — 6 years ago
