Elegant and grassy Sauvignon Black from NZ — 9 years ago
Typical SB style with citrus and tropical fruit aromas adding some grassy notes. I think a small amount of Semillion blended for body and texture (their limited release has Semillion). On the palate melon and grapefruit flavors with citrus zest, very crisp. The wine was about medium in length ending with earthy notes and minerality tones. Pleasant. — 9 years ago
A favorite Sauvignon Blanc. Light, fresh and crisp with citrus and grassy notes. Great value! — 10 years ago
Yum! I disagree with the reviews below, this wine reminds me of NZ Sauvignon Blanc! Grassy, herbal, honey and apples. Very different and a nice surprise for the money. — 10 years ago
Always a bargain for the price, VM delivers what one expects from NZ SB, with bright lemon lime flavored and rich grassy tannins. — 11 years ago

Excellent California Sauv Blanc that hints of Marlborough. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, grassy almost asparagus flavors. Meringue as well. — 8 years ago
Straw with aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and grassy floral notes. On the palate apple and melon flavors, lime and an underlying sweetness, crisp and refreshing with vivid acidity. The finish is balanced and its medium ending has some grassy mineral characteristics. Nice! — 9 years ago

Lemon, grassy herbal note / minerality and acid late-palate — 8 years ago
Green apple translucent yellow in color. Great nose with loads of passion fruit, grapefruit, and apricot. Hints of fresh rubber and grassy stone. Medium plus acidity with medium long bitter melon rind finish gives it great structure and crisp juicy mouth feel. Very ripe fruit forward Sauvignon blanc. — 9 years ago
Pleasant nose with lemon and grassy notes. Dry, viscous and mineraly, medium body. Finish with savory notes. A real treat — 9 years ago
Has the grassy grapefruit you would expect from a NZ SB but it's complimented greatly with the taste of a sweeter stone fruit like guava. Grade A 10/10 would buy again. — 9 years ago
This wine is so delicious. I can't get over the smell and taste of gooseberry! A very interesting flavor, but leads me to an extra sip. Some additional flavors Are lemon (citrus) maybe tangerine, and maybe some grassy/herby flavor. I will be getting this again. — 9 years ago
Grassy, jalapeños. M+ acid, lemon, spice. Beautiful. — 10 years ago

Exactly what I wanted this to be- funky, feral, cab franc- bret-y, barnyard, and grassy, with a deep berry core. Was perfect from a 2001 magnum at an outdoor brunch on a warm CA day. Uber-natural winemaking, on the edge of what I can classify as "enjoyable" — 12 years ago
