La Fontaine de la Pouyade Premier Cru Grande Champagne Cognac. This is a blend of the great house's vintage cognacs at 80% from 1904, 13% from 1862, and 7% from 1848. Rosemary, licorice, thyme, ginger, almonds, dried herbs on the palate, fiery at 40% alcohol. With thanks and appreciation to Andrew Bell, good friend and great teacher. — 10 years ago
