Another very solid IPA from Founders, showcasing Mosaic hops, citrus and Piny, orange peel, grapefruit, slight tropical hints, peach, pineapple, not too complex, just nice one dimensional mosaic hops, but that is good for those who do not understand how much one single hop can really make a very good IPA, just that very single Focus, gives you a deeper knowledge of how much one hop can defined a beer, and then you recognize that hop in other beers, but all that really means to be said about this beer, it is a very good beer in the style, and does exactly what it aims for, simply put, you like mosaic hops, this is the IPA for you — 8 years ago
Had a bit of strawberry and pink peppercorn, nice dryness. Complimented the Thai stir fry we had for dinner perfectly! Wish I had bought more than one bottle — 8 years ago
Lovely, drinkable white wine blend from Michigan's Old Mission Peninsula. Not overly sweet. $12 at Costco. — 9 years ago
Apparently CGT is the first in the state to grow Grüner eh? I enjoyed it for what it is! — 9 years ago
Chocolate-coffee undertones. Quite nice! Thank you Dad for picking them up — 9 years ago
Not what I usually get, but a refreshing change! Careful, 8.5 ABV is almost like two beers — 9 years ago
crisp and dry with a tart apple finish — 10 years ago
Unbelievable. Perfect night cap paired with dark chocolate. — 10 years ago
Beautiful cranberry tea, auburn color. Big beer- alc, depth, rich bitter hops rounded by just the right amount of malt. This probably needs a couple years of aging. Caramlized grapefruit. Very dry in the mouth. Black tea. — 8 years ago

Not too sweet, has a great kick at the end...highly recommend — 8 years ago
Outstanding American Porter, much like their fantastic "Breakfast Stout" rich roasted malts, chocolate and vanilla, this is a very thin line between a porter and stout, not as big, of course as their stout, but as the style, just great, the hops add to this being a bigger Porter than most, everything' you would want in a great Porter, my "Go To" Porter, Excellent!!! — 8 years ago

Time to be a little foolish :) — 10 years ago
First off, this one has beautiful ruby color, and a great fresh raspberry aroma. The flavor opens with slightly tart raspberry, and a mild sweetness that builds in the mid-palate. The maltiness of the ale comes in at the finish. — 8 years ago
Dry Grand Traverse Riesling 2013. Hint of melon and pears. Went well with pan fried Great Lakes bass. — 8 years ago
14,15,16. Great. Junk. And very promising. Fun little vertical. — 8 years ago
Very enjoyable red. Subtly sweet. Lots of fruit flavor. Not too heavy and very drinkable. — 8 years ago
The IPA every body is ok drinking from the bud drinker to the pine lover. Yeah it is perfect for the fishing trip to the slow roasting bbq. — 8 years ago
Great price point at $22. The oak is there but nicely integrated and with a dusty mineral note. — 9 years ago
I'm not sure why but I didn't expect such quality from a Michigan winery. Nice atmosphere at the winery overlooking the vineyard and Grand Traverse Bay! — 9 years ago
Very tasty with a certain finesse. — 9 years ago
This is the stuff! Toasty, roasty! — 10 years ago
