Terrific value. — 8 years ago
Wow what a treat. We let it decant for an hour and then poured it back in to the bottle ant let is sit for 4 hours with no cork. Just amazing. The complexity is amazing and I feel like I can taste the terroir. It was very acidic at the beginning but that went away after we let it breathe and it was replaced with an amazing complex assortment of dry fruit, flowers, and that French funky dirt taste. Merry Christmas and cheers. — 8 years ago
Beautiful wine. Mint ant savory. Soft and elegant — 9 years ago
Whole wheat bread, honey tea, gold dust, ant nests, old currency and simultaneously... fresh rag paper. Weird dichotomy, like crisp bills in a bank envelope, handled by a warthog-woman. You can almost smell the feral collagen, but then: yeast cells, rice paper, dinner rolls, linen, match stick, and sweet, soft leather. She wears a fringe jacket and dates a Haüptling! Smells like ant-killer pesticide, in a good way. Musty white pepper, green fennel- impossibly dark cherry macerated to the smoothest tannins. — 9 years ago
Dirty nose Dr read fruit leathergreat structure like an old oxidized ant hill seamless finish a sleeper for Cab. Franc. Well worth a try. Refreshing to have a non fruit bomb Napa wine in 2007 — 10 years ago
Translucence reds with copper tones, light current ant plum notes with a petrol finish on the nose. Light in body. Light berry with heavy plum finish with a touch of spice. Tannins are more distinct lower in the mouth — 10 years ago

Delicious- light, crisp ant not too dry. Oddly paired well with a chopped chipotle ranch salad with tortilla chips and bacon. The lovely crosstie bottle with the glass stopper Is a plus-I recycle them to fill with infused spirits — 8 years ago
The 2012 Tina Marie was the best vintage I've had from this vineyard. Great Pinot characteristics, plum, forward juice, raspberry, soft tannins, but heavier than other 2012s. Definitely more life in this one. Drank over three days and was tight throughout. One of Ant Hill's best 2012s. — 8 years ago
Tawny red. Earthy nose of dried cranberries, brush, herbs, and stone. Nice texture in the mouth. Great finish. At peak i think as the fruit has softened ant the tannins are nicely resolved. — 8 years ago
Grrst drop - strong vanilla overtones — 9 years ago
Very solid old school wine. Hugo Gramp would recognise this wine as a style reminiscent of the Barossa deepest roots. A pleasure to drink, well managed oak and fruit. Will be a slow developing wine, which even in it's brown later years will be a solid example of the type. — 9 years ago
2008, My best Macon ever! Rich smooth elegant and yummy!!!
This fine Macon was just spectacular, the color is deep gold reflecting its age, the nose is truly an elegant melange of nuts, butter, lime, citrus, grape fruit ant a zest of minerals! The body is complex, rich, smooth, round, concentrated and rewarding, with perfect acidity, the finish leaves you wondering where were you in 2009 when this was released and how come you did not secure your 12 pack ;-).My score 90, drink 2010-2016 — 10 years ago
