Made in an oxidized style, the color is a deep gold and the nose reveals notes of saline, almonds, ginger and sweet bread dough. This reminds me of a denser white Rioja, ala Lopez de Heredia. The palate adds some licorice, white plum and a toasty finish from the oak. Good acidity, 12.5% abv., medium+ length.
