Much more reasonable club shipment makes me love it even more. 2011, limited release.
In 1878, Fritz H. Rosenbaum, a German stained-glass merchant living in San Francisco, and his wife Johanna, built a modern Gothic-Victorian style home on a knoll north of St. Helena. This house is now the tasting room for St. Clement. The first wines were vented in the stone cellars beneath the house, and Johannaberg Cellars became one of the earliest bonded wineries in Napa Valley. This 2011 Cabernet gives a classic example of Napa Valley and flows across the palate with layers of dark, seamless fruit. It is a soft, textured wine graced with soft, supple tannins and a silky personality. — 11 years ago

This 2014 Australian Viognier by Berton Vineyards is as good or better than their Sauvignon Blanc! A complex full-bodied and actually flavoursome alternative to Chardonay. Dry with flavors of apricot, citrus and peach. The citrus flavor lingers just enough to create a long finish. Great for anything, especially fish. I'm gonna try w a Sea Bass! 13.5% and perfect. Now I have to buy up the rest of these! I'm loving Australian whites❤️ p.s. The labels on their bottles Rock! Gothic, simplistic and secretive (which is why delectable cannot identify it, I suppose) — 11 years ago

Really like this wine. Berries super velvety chocolate. Good marketing with the gothic label and black cork, the gimmick works on me! — 11 years ago
Cracked a bottle from our first vintage. The chard in the blend ages well and keeps it fresh and lively. — 12 years ago
