Deep purple in color with a nose of blackberries and earth. Very well balanced wine. I was waiting for one aspect to take over, but it stayed true throughout the finish. Full-bodied with nice fruit, acidity, and tannin. I tasted off the Coravin right out of the bottle, but this one would probably open up a good bit more with a decant. Very nice wine! — 3 years ago
Very good cab franc from Napa. Deep purple, big flavors across the palate. Grippy. — 3 months ago
Cocoa on the nose and follows to the taste. Cherry fruit but not overpowering has a nice light peppery finish. — a year ago
Deep purple with a nose of olive , lilac, raisin, tomato leaf, cigar box, and a hint of tar and vanilla. Very interesting aroma on this one. Good full-bodied mouthfeel with a hint of fruit on the front, but moves quickly into the flavors noted on the nose. A brooding wine with depth and earthiness. This is an interesting wine and fits the abstract series from Goosecross from which it comes. Definitely will be picking up more of this in the future. — 3 years ago

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nice nose of cedar, licorice, cola, Indian spices, chocolates and tobacco.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, spices, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, eucalyptus, light vegetables and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 4 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Yountville is already delicious. Fruit forward and elegant. Soft and smooth.
Showing nice complexity. Still young but already enjoyable even by itself.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour in the decanter. A good quality wine.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. This Single Vineyard has good potential to become a 94 +point wine.
A good sipping wine that will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Oaky nose with spices and citrus notes.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, red and green apples, lemons, oak, spices, light vanilla and black pepper.
Tangy on the finish with limes and bitter herbs.
This young Napa Chardonnay is already drinking very nicely. Smooth and soft, with nice complexity. Rich and elegant.
Easy drinking and good by itself. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.
This Single Vineyard is tangy, spicy and interesting. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years, and see how it evolved.
Paired nicely with salmon carpaccio.
