Awesome white that worked well with assorted bites at The Progress in SF. Honeyed citrus, mineral, and golden apple. First time for me — impressive! — 8 years ago

1990 vintage. At Cabotte in London. Medium golden hue. Wonderful nose of nutty, old oak, and stone fruits. Some oxidation. Slight anti septic aromas, but pleasant. Complex. On the palate, rich and silky, with real body and high concentration of flavour. Good length. Classic. Drink now until 2020+ — 9 years ago

Drinking the 1998 in 2018. Rich, rich dessert wine. Rich deep golden color. Very thick long lasting legs. Nose full of roasted peach and stone fruit. Taste starts with Carmel, grilled peach and stone fruit. Excellent balance. — 7 years ago
Absolutely lovely nose, rich, golden, botrytised wax, a bit of chenin funk but it's nice here, stewed peaches or pears. Round in the mouth but with acid drive and then an opulent finish. Delicious — 8 years ago
Light golden color. Granny Smith apple dominant on the nose with hints of tropical fruit and moderate new oak. Mid-weight on the palate with bright acidity and pleasant flintiness. 14.5% alcohol. Mostly barrel fermented with the remaining 8% fermented in concrete then aged 12 months in 42% new French oak. $80. — 8 years ago

I’ve been savoring this bottle over several months using my Coravin. Sadly, finally finished it off. Just love tasting this golden beauty open up in the glass. Can’t wait to start on another bottle! — 6 years ago
Simply amazing - golden honey yet balanced with acid and crispness — 6 years ago
ID 214041 Brioche and citrus fruits on the nose, perhaps even a hint of prune? Very slight green tinged light golden colour. Light citrus flavor but with some of the Meunier fruit showing through. Very drinkable now but I suspect patience will be rewarded handsomely. — 8 years ago
Sushi and Champagne is one of my favorite combinations. Indeed, almost all celebrations that @Cara Zimmerman and I enjoy together will include this duo. This was somewhat of a step up from our norm as Sushi Zo is a world apart from our usual delivery order of tuna and salmon rolls (with free edamame). Likewise this 1975 DP was rather more elevated than our weekly fizz.
Dark golden color with rich, brioche and mature elements. A touch too advanced but enormously attractive and retaining terrific purity and energy. Sushi and Champagne has rarely been such a treat. — 8 years ago
Golden with good mousse. Brioche, mushrooms and great presence. — 9 years ago
Super tasty Belgian. Get again! — 9 years ago
Golden in color. Notes of tropical fruits and botrytis. Solid wine for the price. — 10 years ago
Completely brilliant dry Muscat with scintillating acidity and the apricot and white flower intensity you'd expect. Alto Adige. — 12 years ago

This Pa brewery is rocking my world. Close my eyes and taste this, and I drift back to my time when I lived in Waterloo, Brussels. Label says 9.5% abv, but it’s tucked in nicely. Woody notes on the palate, with cardamom, cloves and licorice. Heart-warming as it slips down the hatch. Well done! — 6 years ago
