Neighborhood wine store. Front end expected and typical, back end was a pleasant twist of under ripe white fruit with nice complexity. — 6 years ago
Great summer wine. Medium bodied , good acidity with notes of apple, pear and apricot. On the palate, it showed an interesting salty minerality.
I continue to be impressed by the quality of godello at its price. — 8 years ago

Note to @Delectable Wine the winery is pronounced “Aranthia” but spelled “Arancia”. A Spanish ringer for Chablis (some people sense Chenin leanings) and a good one at that. Tropical flowers and citrus on the nose, but the palate is energized with lemon, mineral, bright acid, and some stone fruit bitterness. Very light on its feet, but finishes somewhat longer. Crazy good for a BTG selection. — 8 years ago
Very good. That complex balance of aromas that teeters on the edge between Chardonnay and something more exciting. Minerals (slate), celery stock, lime and a faint creamy/tropical aromas. A fresh low alcohol presence in the mouth at the same time a depth/power/slight richness in texture. My only complaint would be a note of sulfur dioxide. All in all, this is a really carefully made example of the variety. — 9 years ago

This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Great with Indian food or any spicy food or shellfish. — 10 years ago
Does an amazing job of walking the tightrope of new/old world, fleshy fruit (pear, quince, pomelo), with just enough acid to keep it in balanced. A bit of nutty bitterness at the finish-- what it needed..,. — 11 years ago
