Steady stream of dainty beads, not as powerful as other Champagnes. A delicious kitchen sink of aromas & flavors - floral, citrus & toasty bread. Complex & beautiful! — 9 years ago
Rich plums, chocolate flavors. A grand dame of pinotage. — 9 years ago
Full bodies Cabernet without overpowering tanins. Tastes oaked, touch of cloves/vanilla , red fruits. Delicious! — 10 years ago

Barolo style Nebbiolo, 2 years in cask. Tannins softening and finesse in this lovely example of Italian winemaking in a foreign climate. — 11 years ago
Very nice, had with Duck. Acidic — 12 years ago
Carpe Diem 3 Year Anniversary Wine #3 Cab based blend, aged so gracefully. Great balance and weight on the palate. — 12 years ago
Carpe diem Spätburgunder. Paul Schumacher 2014. Nice varietal nose of small red berries and some metallic dimension but it is a bit too discreet. The palate is velvety with a nice acid frame. Small sour cherries. Nice finish with a touch of salt. Very lovely wine ! — 8 years ago
Upper Galilee Cab-Sauv with some Merlot and petit Verdot. Opens up with air to reveal red fruits with hints of licorice and a fresh herbal note. Medium bodied and balanced, with soft tannins, this wine is remarkably fine and harmonious given its young age, origin and the rather warm harvest. It shows the deft hand of urban winemaker Malkiel Hadari in fashioning his micro-cuvées. — 9 years ago
Lacks quality of the 2012 but still an amazing drop. — 9 years ago
Drunk too young, guilty again, must be the carpe diem...generous red acid fruit, tipicity, length and easy drinking, though the tannins are intense at this stage — 10 years ago
2013. Old wood on the nose with dried cherries. Earthy with slight graphite. Ruby colour. Smooth and balanced with tannins and astringency making up for lack of acid. Light and good with food. Carpe diem restaurant, Nice, Fr. — 10 years ago
Great happy hour Paso red blend at Carpe Diem in Oxbow — 10 years ago

Nose like raw-ish apple pie before it goes in the oven. — 12 years ago
Carpe Diem 3 Year Anniversary Wine #2 Grenache blanc/Pedro Ximenez blend from Priorat. Mind blowing texture and freshness. — 12 years ago
Great Chardonnay. Not heavy on the oak. Complex flavors. — 9 years ago
California Chardonnay in burgundy style. Lack of oak is a nice change of pace and as a result the wine paired well with both mahi mahi and veal tenderloin. — 9 years ago
Nose: buttery, red fruit, earthy. We did a quick aeration. Lots of sediments. Feels warm. Balanced, but with higher tannins. Great as a stand alone. I could see this pair well with dessert. Some sort of fruit pie. — 9 years ago
Delicious. Creamy and spicy. — 10 years ago
The 2004. Still coiled and youthful at age 11, it has a glorious future ahead of it. Lemon, salt and chalk, the structure is still pretty monumental and not quite fully integrated. But delicious and with huge potential. Thanks @Chris Cottrell - carpe diem is right! — 10 years ago
Tuoksussa nahkaa ja tummia marjoja. Maku on voimakkaan tanniininen, jopa polttava. Maku täyttää suun ja kestää pitkään. — 10 years ago
Incredible sweet wine with an unbelievable cheap price... — 11 years ago
Enjoyed every drop of this @ Carpe Diem, downtown Napa NYE. Decadent flavor; I wanted to swim I'm it. Paired with Brie or braided rib tamale- and soulful r&b tunes on the playlist...just perfect — 11 years ago
Carpe Diem 3 Year Anniversary Wine #1 A baby, needed a lot of time to open, but when it did it was so worth it! Olives, pepper and minerals. — 12 years ago
