Blackberry, tobacco, espresso, black olive, leather, fresh black pepper. Pronounced, varietal. Masculine, velvety on palate. Great complexity, long finish. Very well made and age worthy. — 8 years ago

Nariz: frambuesa, cereza, mora, algo floral. En copa vacia se nota algo de petalo de rosa seca. Algo parecido a un Bourgogne.
Boca: Muy buen balance. Acido M, tanino M, alcohol M+. Rico al paldar. Buen valor. (Mendez) — 7 years ago

Muy bueno, un poco joven todavia (aug 2016). PR Dist (Mendez) — 8 years ago
No Syrah in the 2013 vintage. 40% Cab, 20% each: Grenache, Carignan, Merlot. Dark brick red and opaque, staining tears. Blueberry prominent on nose. Rich, silky, elegant. Soft tannins on finish. A beautiful wine that would definitely appeal to Napa Cab drinkers. Drank with Bryan Mendez 5/19/16. — 8 years ago
At PnP: Nice weekday wine. Good complexity and fruit; full long finish; little too much heat to get much from the nose. Seems to really lack QPR.
After an hour decant: opened up and settled down a lot. Tannins and alcohol are integrated. Much better, still not worth the money. — 8 years ago
