Super elegant. S. B. at its best! — 12 years ago
Light and delicious. This Gewurtztraminer has a beautiful nose of white flowers, white peach, and lychee with very light pale almost clear color. The palate is light and floral with soft white fruit flavors but with good amount of acid to keep it crisp and refreshing. It is slightly sweet but with low residual sugar for a clean and dry finish. Reminiscent of dry Gewurztraminers from Alsace. Overall, it is light and delicious. — 10 years ago
Youthful in spite of the the touch of age . Bright, nutty, freshly spiced. Excitedly effervescent. Delicious; wish I had hung on to the bottle a bit longer...long life ahead! — 10 years ago
Reminiscent of Lafon's work in the Macon with less heat. Great Bourgogne Blanc, indigenous yeast for sure. — 12 years ago
2007 is my favorite year for this Pinot! — 10 years ago
One of my favorite regions of Washington. Damp cellar , wet tobacco and a peppery finish made me think about this wine. — 11 years ago
A bit light on the nose, but gorgeous on the palate. Spice and smoke over red berries and a soft texture with a medium body and a nice long finish. Savory herbs and roasted nuts too. This is fantastic. — 12 years ago
Scott Wiegand
Horse heaven hills Cabernet.
According to their tasting notes: "Intensely juicy aromas of red and black currant, huckleberry jam, and red licorice take center stage as a subtle and enticing bouquet of graphite, smoke, and dusty loam perform on the peripheral.
The palate is fresh and lithe for it's class, balancing fine tannins, moderate alcohol, and elegant acidity through a lengthy and delicious finish."
I thought it was not much better than a comparable cab by Columbia Crest H3 from 2012. I think it edged the H3 but is nearly 3 times as much. I preferred their cab from the Wahluke Slope in past years. — 10 years ago
