Menthol/ vinegar on the nose, a harshness that fades. Blueberry jam, but has lost a bit of its fresh fruit. Kind of forest character. 2007. — 8 years ago
A bit creamier and more heavily bodied than its unoaked brethren, this wine is all about the mouthfeel and Apple fruits almost like a PG. — 9 years ago
Wow. Really impressed. Good fruit nice balance. Some structure. Nose is lively floral but the treat is on the palate. Not too tannic — 9 years ago
Horse heaven hills Cabernet.
According to their tasting notes: "Intensely juicy aromas of red and black currant, huckleberry jam, and red licorice take center stage as a subtle and enticing bouquet of graphite, smoke, and dusty loam perform on the peripheral.
The palate is fresh and lithe for it's class, balancing fine tannins, moderate alcohol, and elegant acidity through a lengthy and delicious finish."
I thought it was not much better than a comparable cab by Columbia Crest H3 from 2012. I think it edged the H3 but is nearly 3 times as much. I preferred their cab from the Wahluke Slope in past years. — 10 years ago

Reminiscent of Lafon's work in the Macon with less heat. Great Bourgogne Blanc, indigenous yeast for sure. — 12 years ago

Floral on the nose. White peach, white flowers and pineapple. Very aromatic and crisp. Mineral on the finish. Must buy. 2014 — 8 years ago
A Bordeaux style blend that really delivers, this wine has all levels of cherry, currant, and coffee flavors, lingering in a dusty tannic finish. — 9 years ago

Youthful in spite of the the touch of age . Bright, nutty, freshly spiced. Excitedly effervescent. Delicious; wish I had hung on to the bottle a bit longer...long life ahead! — 10 years ago
Super elegant. S. B. at its best! — 12 years ago
2010 vintage. Echezeaux. Medium ruby hue. Touch heady on initially opening. Tightly sprung. Hints of tan leather, mulberry and blackberry bush. Cinnamon and old wood and green decaying leaf. Some complexity starting to show. On the palate, dry, medium plus acidity, plush ripe tannins, medium body, silky mid palate, medium plus alcohol, medium plus concentration of flavour. There's some good length on the finish. Certainly decent. Not a blockbuster and lacks some complexity at this stage of youth. Drink now until 2026. — 8 years ago
Creamy and fruity, with mild citric tones and pear flavors. — 9 years ago
Nice big bold wine... Great value! And I love the story behind it. — 9 years ago
Finally got a chance to try the Malbec and I was not disappointed. There was plenty of dark, brooding, brambly fruit with with a touch of peppery spice. Well structured with fine grained tannins and a mouth coating full body in good balance. More defined than most South American Malbecs I've had but also carries a made in America price tag of $30 so not quite as much bang for your buck but still a good value. — 9 years ago

Light and delicious. This Gewurtztraminer has a beautiful nose of white flowers, white peach, and lychee with very light pale almost clear color. The palate is light and floral with soft white fruit flavors but with good amount of acid to keep it crisp and refreshing. It is slightly sweet but with low residual sugar for a clean and dry finish. Reminiscent of dry Gewurztraminers from Alsace. Overall, it is light and delicious. — 10 years ago
Perfect summer wine. Salmon pink, totally dry. Elegant mineral infused strawberry. Takes about ten minutes to finish a bottle. Solo. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite regions of Washington. Damp cellar , wet tobacco and a peppery finish made me think about this wine. — 11 years ago
A bit light on the nose, but gorgeous on the palate. Spice and smoke over red berries and a soft texture with a medium body and a nice long finish. Savory herbs and roasted nuts too. This is fantastic. — 12 years ago
