Deep, rich, lovely. Rich fruit, lusciously delightful — 6 years ago
Owned in collaboration with Chris Ringland, Jorge Ordonez, Miguel Gil and others, located in the Valley of La Aragona inside the Murcia district of Jumilla. Dark Ruby, purple edges, with aromas of black/blue fruits and spice. Cabernet/Monastrell blends shows blackberry and blueberry flavors, complex spice, tobacco and cacao with an earthy feel. The finish shows some leather notes, well structured, smooth tannins and should improve over next few years, too young to fully enjoy now. — 6 years ago

Packs a mouthful of flavor. Could use some more mellowness. Gonna finish that last half glass with a smile on my face. — 7 years ago

Nice citrus and great acidity. Good QPR as well priced under $12. — 10 years ago
I'm most familiar with the stellar reds from Juan Gil, and this white blend was a not-so-surprising treat. Peach and violet and citrus dance around with minerals structure and a vibrant mouthfeel. Sorry for the winespeak; it's refreshing and delicious. Nuff said! — 5 years ago
Wife is a fan! — 6 years ago
Not as complex as I like my rosé, however no residual sugar and it has a brightness of cherry and strawberry. Perfect find for $15 to eat with Thai food! — 7 years ago
Dark purple body, opaque, thin rim. Nose is a little hot, but also has loads of fruit, Cherry and maybe citrus? Can't tell if there is mint or if that's the alcohol. Oak and leather become stronger sensations over time. Palate has good acidity, understated tannins. But then tannins start to dominate the finish. This wine develops over time and each sip is a little different from the previous one. I'm hooked! — 7 years ago
Nice little light wine. — 8 years ago
Capa alta y densidad alta, en nariz café, fruta negra madura y regaliz negro. En boca buena densidad amargo y potente, regaliz negro y ahumados buen secante. — 9 years ago
No brainer. The fruit and the minerality are typical Priorat and that's not a bad thing. — 10 years ago
22eur. High QPR. Big. Very rich. Very well balanced. Buy and enjoy. We got this from our friends at Enoteca Barolo in Madrid. Great wine shop. — 10 years ago

Great summer white! Drinking on the lawn with mom friends. — 7 years ago
One of CA's oldest wineries, Far Niente, founded in 1885 by world traveler John Benson. The winery flourished until Prohibition, at which time it was abandoned and fell into complete disrepair. The stately stone shell of a winery was purchased in 1979 by Gil Nickel. Tropical and stone fruit aromas with complex spice and oak notes. On the palate apple, pear and citrus flavors, concentrated, with toasty oak and honey tones. Lingering finish ending with vibrant mineral characteristics. — 7 years ago
Nice citrus flavor! Semi dry good with sea food. — 7 years ago
Great for sipping in the evening in front pf the fireplace with friends. Good body, but not overly full. — 8 years ago
Great color, full bodied, and unapologetic. Smoke, anise and bark on the nose. Fruit forward, but in a mature and controlled way. Great smoke, spice and brick dust gives it character. Sandy tannins and a great finish. Definitely food wine. — 9 years ago
Raisins. Delicious nutty like Christmas — 10 years ago
