A unique bottle opened by our host Alex Giesen in his Puligny chateau.

A family only bottle made just for the Giesen's, not available in the market, so fresh and clean; barrel fermented as only a Kiwi transplant in France world choose to do. A nice pull from Alex's private cellar. — 6 years ago

Huge aromas of bright cherry and raspberry with floral notes. Great balance, with pretty strawberry flavors that have a subtle mineral edge. Long pure finish. — 7 years ago
Lovely zesty wine with mineral finish. Medium long finish — 8 years ago
Giesen produce some amazing Pinot! Standout of their Single Vineyard releases. #pinotpalooza #adelaide — 9 years ago
Crisp, clean and tangy. Pink grapefruit and lime acidity with a dry finish. Great for pairing with a Chinese takeaway. Bargain price at Oddbins. — 6 years ago
Funked out sauv blanc. Damn! Wouldn't have expected it from Geisen. — 6 years ago
Luscious and feminine on the nose. Satin waves of clean red fruit and subtle tea notes. Super nicely balanced and clean in the mouth. Tart and expressive with powerful fruit and nuanced oak. Bright and explosive finish with long fruit going on and on. The hint of bite let’s you know where it’s from. Not Burgundian but a truly beautiful expression of New Zealand Pinot — 6 years ago
