We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/7-8/18. The strawberry fruit is subtle. There was cardomom, mushroom and a nice spice. Truly Burgundian. Medium bodied. No tannin; smooth and ready to drink. — 7 years ago
Ripe, powerful, complex. Brilliant ruby-garnet. Haunting flavors, tremendous grip and persistence. Fruit-forward, black cherries and kirsch framed by limestone and earth and generously toasted oak. More defined flavors will emerge in a few years, but this is a complex and vibrant wine that will coat your palate aggressively with dense fruit. — 7 years ago
From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 8 years ago

Fresh! Inky blood red #allumette — 11 years ago
Still concentrated red at the core with beautiful garnet towards the rim. The nose shows classic aged Boudots and thrives on the palate with vibrant 1990 acidity. This is at maturity, should definitely enjoy now. — 7 years ago

Tar, cherry, raspberry. Not very well balanced. — 11 years ago
Hard not to recommend this one. Entry level burgundy that is performing way above it’s status . Excellent wine. — 6 years ago
I loved it! Deceptively simple, so comforting and acidic just enough to make it delicious. If Pinot is your game, than this is wine for you. You’ll love it from the first strawberry aroma. — 7 years ago
Fantastic. Jumps out of the glass with a woodsy waft. Powerful and dark toned but manages to remain lifted. — 7 years ago
Nose: classic barnyard red fruits very distinctive to Burgundy. Palate: spice confirmed red fruits slightly underripe, such a bright acidity. Good balance. Had it paired with herb rubbed pork roast and broccoli & cauliflower, Herb stuffing and cheddar mashed potatoes. Heaven — 9 years ago
Gorgeous light strawberry color. Beautiful red cherries, menthol, some spices, & rose petals. Quite fresh and very light. Complex. Succellent cherries, dry, with medium + acid, some rose petals, and spices. Light body with a gorgeous smooth finish. A great food wine. — 9 years ago
2012 vintage: Quite a feminine NSG that is really floral of rich fruit and gaminess. The palate has good length with good fruit but lovely fine tannins that leave you wanting more. Very different to Chevillon's other NSG wines. A lovely NSG worth a go. — 10 years ago
Very stellar wine — 11 years ago
Great Burgundy 1er Cru — 12 years ago

These wines take a while to open up but once it happens there is some type of magic. The nose is stunning with a mix of red fruits that are fresh and ripe, herbaceous notes, and earthy tones, black tea and minuscule hints of leather. The plate is sheer elegance, the fruits show tart the flowers and herbs sing fresh and the texture is classic burgundy. — 5 years ago
