Got as part of a tasting box. Great find. Would go nuts on these if I could get them for $14-18 — 4 years ago

A fav, Pale yellow with pleasing aromas of citrus and peaches. One of the few barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc's which adds a wonderful toasty oak flavor setting this wine apart from the rest. Complex palate of flavors, fresh fruit, lemons, grapefruit, peaches and Asian pears. Slight earthiness with a smooth and creamy well balanced finish ending with a gentle sweet character. Very nice! — 4 years ago

In 1805, Daniel Phelan, an Irish wine broker, acquired le Clos de Garamey, and was followed in 1810 by the acquisition of the Segur de Cabanac estate, creating the domain that remains today. Aromas and flavors of black cherry and blueberry with cacao, gentle oak and herb character. Firm grip on tannins, lingering this big wine to an earthy ending. Tight now give it some time, decanting helps if you must now! — 6 years ago
Delicious Pinot. Not your normal Cali Pinot - like I’ve had in France. Kenny does such a great job with his Pinots. I just love them. — 6 years ago
Great sweet white wine with gentle bubbly. Good sipping wine with dessert or to offset spicy foods. — 6 years ago
Part of their "Blue Series," Isabelle, named after the birth of Jim’s daughter in 1995, was first top end Pinot Noir that was a blend from different locations, 6 in 2015. Ruby, Aromas of berry fruits with citrus, herbs & floral notes, aged for 2 years in new French Oak. On the palate layers of gentle ripe fruit flavors of raspberry and cherry with citrus and oak wrapped in gentle spice. Wine has great depth, soft tannins, well integrated, savory, long ending with a nice mouthfeel. Very Nice! Last bottle! — 4 years ago

Big Purple Color! (And teeth stainer!) Aromas and flavors of ripe blueberry, blackberry and vanilla. Hints of herbs, mint and graphite. Medium body, beautifully balanced with soft tannins. Totally ready to drink. Gentle oaky notes. Very long finish. A bit tight out of the bottle so decant it. Great! Thank you Mark Smith. — 6 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
1991 inaugural vintage by famous Vega Sicilia estate. Tried the ‘13 a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Ruby with an array of aromas, dark fruits, spice, floral and some oak. The palate shows strawberry, blackberry & plum flavors with hints of espresso and licorice surrounded with gentle oak. Tannins are firm and support the backbone of this tremendous wine. Well balance with acidity, full body, lingering finish ends with some fruit, oak, spice, and mineral character. Will benefit from more time! — 4 years ago
