Love this wine with one of my favorites menus when I am in Ica, (300 km south Lima), picante de pallares/ spicy Ica beans, with a sheet of milanese beef on top & some white rice, simply delicious! — 7 years ago
Warm cherry optimal wine for chilling..... tip let the wine breathe for minimal 3 minutes — 7 years ago
Vanilla and spice on the nose, but so much tannin from the mid palate through finish... didn't expect it! another Kermit Lynch beauty! This is 70% Carignan and 30% Mourvèdre from Cote Catalanes in Rousillon ( South of France). — 8 years ago

— 7 years ago

Venezia Giulia IGT 1988, 10%. Bottle tasted in November 2014.
Unusual!
Unexpected!
Unforgettable!
There is oxidation in the wine, so the color is a very dark copper green. The nose detects candied fruits, dates, Marsala.
In the mouth is quite extraordinary (it was my first taste of such wine), rich and persistent, with acidity, and an aftertaste of toasted peanuts. — 10 years ago

Burgundy meets da Vinci. Pretty and floral with beautiful design morphed into something more muscular from meat stock city. — 7 years ago

This is delicious!!! — 10 years ago
Sweet, fruity nose with cherry a the predominant player. Lots of fruit on the palette with chocolate and coffee on the finish. Tannins are still a little young. This will continue to improve for another 5+ years. — 11 years ago
