Decanted for an hour, this was intensely aromatic with a complex melange of flavors--vanilla, figs, cherries, green olives, tobacco leaf, cinnamon, and chalky dust--while staying light on its feet with refreshing acidity, resolved, silky tannins, and medium body. Endless rosary of tiny bubbles, within a light golden straw color. Nice compromise on the nose between aromas of freshly made brioche and bread dough, and green apple, and citric acidity. The tangyness in this champagne es fenomenal. Great body to it, very harmonious and interesting composition. Great value for the price. Its acidity is really seductive and gracious.
