Light tannins, light fiz, light wine in general and not too long of a finish. Raspberries, lavender — 5 years ago
Light, crisp easy drinking... stores have figured it out because price keeps going up... Marlborough region of N.Z. Great with herbed or pepper cheeses, and strawberries and grapes. — 5 years ago
Medium gold. Great weight in the glass. Fruit forward nose. Big impact. Notes of sweet apricot, pineapple, kiwi fruit, wet stones and some honey. Rich in the mouth with light acidity at first but it builds with time in the glass. Great texture. Still youthful. — 5 years ago
Typically grown in Jura region of Switzerland or Duoro region of Portugal. Light body with rusty red brown hues. Considered a farming grape or “bastardo” in Portugal 🤣 it’s lovely! Would pair with margarita pizza (can hold up to marinara or Bolognese). Best to drink young (same with their Gamay Noir) — 7 years ago
Early but ready. Nice balance of minerals and light fruit. Acid that makes you smile. Hirsch. Thank you. @Jasmine Hirsch — 8 years ago
Green apple, cherry blossom essence, crisp and light. — 9 years ago
Surprise of the night. Not your typical CA Grenache. Light colored but full flavored. Old World. — 9 years ago
A perfumed nose of red fruits that follows thru to the palate. Plenty of intensity despite the light color. Gained weight with air but also showed some alcohol. — 10 years ago
Our favorite Sauvignon blanc. Light with loads of citrus. Great with shrimp or veg with dip. Between $12 and $16 a bottle. — 11 years ago
M. Chiarlo’s Moscato d’Asti is also available in a 375ml which is a nice size to pop open after a nice meal. A slight effervescence wine with a light golden color. Aromas of sweet fresh stone fruits and citrus layered with a bit of floral spice. On the palate flavors of peaches and apricots with a grape-like character. Medium finish ending with citrus, sweet spice and honey notes. A favorite, great value! Grab a 750ml for a larger crowd! — 4 years ago
Absolutely lovely! Beautiful light salmon color, aromas of strawberry, light taste that would be fantastic with fresh spicy SE Asian food, salad, or seafood. A real spring time patio pounder! — 5 years ago
Lovely. Some odd odors during the first hour after opening- blue cheese and cabbage.
Good color, smooth, soft, rounded and light tannins.
Cork was a complete mess- took about 5 to ten minutes to clean out.
Mushrooms, bell peppers, cedar and cherries. Delicious with dinner of filet and lobster, asparagus and potatoes. — 5 years ago
Profoundly earthy, with a great helping of pyrazine. Restrained fruit- blackberry and raspberry, and a garden-full of freshly turned soil, herbs and spices. Great balance of acid and tannin. Rustic and compelling - curious to see where this goes in a few more years. — 6 years ago
Velvety, purple-red color and slightly opaque. Notes of ripe, dark red cherries, fresh tart ripe cherry flavor with a well-balanced dry acidity with a light dry finish. Light-medium bodied. — 7 years ago
Great wine to share with a meal ! Light in colour, full of flavour. — 8 years ago
Color is pale pink, moving to orange at the rim; shows much, much more age then its two years. Smell is instantly earthy, with some alcohol and some fruit, and very slight background of oak; again, nose suggests age, so maybe this bottle has benefited from its improper storage. Taste confirms oak and really brings out the fruit, most prominent for me is raisin; medium acid with light tannins and dry, earthy finish. Delicious and balanced. This is the best American wine I've had at this price (about $19) — 8 years ago
1990: Corked, unfortunately. My mom had the best line, "It sure tastes better than it smells!" I recall what it was like on release, hard candy sweetness with a surprisingly light framework, particularly compared to both the '88 & '89 on release, and the crazy depth of the'90 Ch. Filholt Creme de tete, which was massively concentrated. This bottle still had oomph, yet wasn't all there. — 10 years ago
effervescent. mineraly, very light clean finish. deliciius. little bit of funk. — 10 years ago
APPEARANCE Clear Medium Ruby color. NOSE Clean Light aromas of Red berry fruit mélange, tea leaf, with air more notes of earth and spice.. PALATE Dry sweetness, Medium acid and Low tannin with Light body and flavours of spice that lessen on the palate while the tea flavors are more pronounced, however the red berry fruits are the most present of the flavors with a streak of minerality. which last for Medium length on the finish. Very Good quality. #beaujolais #morgon #lapierre — 11 years ago
Funky nose, but the palate had a strong acidic backbone with bright red fruits, including red currant, strawberry, and a touch of ripe watermelon. A great, light summer red. Definitely serve it chilled. Lovely. Thanks to @Shawn Paul for the introduction to this one! — 5 years ago
Yes! A great representation of what can become of gamay from a Cru village wine. The typical esters are there on the nose but the overall fruit and some darker tertiary flavours are present. A bit light on the palate despite the 14% but this is made up for by the long delicate spicy-flowery finish. — 5 years ago
Deep currents in the nose with a beautiful round smooth mouth full of flower petals light citrus and berries. — 5 years ago
Rosé really, really does not have to be crap. It can be refined and something special. Delicate light pink in the glass with an atypically complex nose of watermelon, orange blossom, white flowers, and bright citrus. Wonderful acidity and super crisp, this is exceedingly dry and fun. There’s a subtle smokiness that permeates throughout and gives depth to the wine. The mid palate is all bright, ripe fruit which leads way to notes of peaches, guava fruit, tart cranberry, and stone minerality. A bottle of this doesn’t last very long. I don’t know if I’m prepared to say it’s my favorite Rosé but it’s certainly up there. — 6 years ago
Color of bubbly egg white. Nose of honey , a bit gasoline, pineapple, and actually a bit nutty and oaky note. Taste is sweet honey, some zesty peel, Sprite, citrus, lemonade like flavor, light yet refreshing. Aftertaste is a bit short, but definitely a crowd pleaser. — 7 years ago
Deep garnet red with lots of bricking on the edges. Light cassis and dark cherries on the nose with some tertiary notes like earthiness and damp leaves. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. Lots of complexity with light cassis and dark cherries, a little bit of tomato leaves and earthiness. Very well rounded and integrated with a long finish. This will only keep losing fruit and get earthier with time. Drink now. — 8 years ago
Recommend. Wonderful for sipping with a cheese tray. Light with taste of cherries and California sunshine. — 9 years ago
Drinking the 1991 in 2016 after over 2 hours of decanting. Wonderful light sherry type nose with a hint of pepper and quite brick red colour around the edges. Such a soft texture on the tongue though still a little astringency on the finish. Very good. — 10 years ago
Endless rosary of tiny bubbles, within a light golden straw color. Nice compromise on the nose between aromas of freshly made brioche and bread dough, and green apple, and citric acidity. The tangyness in this champagne es fenomenal. Great body to it, very harmonious and interesting composition. Great value for the price. Its acidity is really seductive and gracious. Very discreate orangy flavor on the ligering finish. 91 pts. — 11 years ago

A light & bright red. Pepper and chocolate on the nose, with a layer of cherry. Low on tannins with a prominent acidity. — 4 years ago
