This is the bottle that made me think I had a future in wine. It was a lonely bottle found in the basement that ended up in a flash sale to make room for restocking. I saw a nearly 10 year old French wine with a $9 sticker on it & thought "Either it's gross or they don't know what they have...either way, MINE!" When first poured I was disappointed - no nose to speak of & sediment, grr. I decanted it and took a shower. MOTHER OF GOD...it's amazing what a little bit of air can do. My partner, who isn't much for red wine couldn't believe how fragrant & smooth it was. We managed to keep from gulping it & enjoyed t across 2 dinners. I tried to find a case & the only one was auctioned through Christies! Ha! Sometimes you get lucky & this wine literally changed my life. — 10 years ago
Nice green apple flash with luminary acidity... Caressing and pervasive... I deplore Chardonnay, but this silences me. Sip, sip... — 10 years ago
Very west coast, very good west IPA, if you like your IPA's more on the tropical taste profile, like I do, you will love this, big pineapple, mango, orange, grapefruit, — 10 years ago

True to the name. A very nice west coast hoppy brew. Green Flash is great! — 11 years ago
Pearls, vintage Chris Craft, night time ride across the lake, low moon flashes behind the trees, underwear in your pocket this time. The green flash of the aurora borealis comes out of nowhere, a slow serpentine sine-wave pulsing across the Milky Way. — 9 years ago

Super hops meets super stout. Very hoppy, chocolate, and hints of coffee. — 10 years ago
Another anniversary, another bottle of '04 Champagne (not that I'm complaining). A unique Blanc de Blanc that has a color almost reminiscent of Mountain Dew (yes, that yellow). Biscuit dough, green apple, green pears and a flinty minerality greet the nose. Sharp acidity and a strong minerality flash through the palette, followed by candied apple and yeasty dough. The balance seems a bit off, but that doesn't take away from the sheer enjoyment of this Champ. The lingering finish will have you thinking about this wine long after you've sipped. — 10 years ago
I love almost everything green flash, but this is exceptional. The cedar adds a different kind of bitterness than hops can, and more depth. Very, very good. — 11 years ago
My flash may be broken...but the wine is delicious! — 11 years ago
Belgian dubbel, IPA blend. Awesome. — 11 years ago
The 11 Umathum is cool and earthy, reductive, benefited from a flash decant. Doesn't seem to have the same edge or stuff as the 09, but still an enjoyable drink. '12 Pechstein was crushed rock SALT and lime. Halbtrocken sweetness tucked away behind the acid and mineral. Friendly jabs around bread and butter, foie gras, gravlax, likes fat and salt — 11 years ago
Great Cheap Wine !! — 12 years ago
Excellent. Gordons via the flash — 10 years ago
2015 release, pink label, Treasure chest, profits for Brest cancer, One the most tropical IPA's I ever had, prickly pear, Hibiscus, grapefruit, very little malt backbone to balance the hops, but that is a good thing, low AVB, very smooth, refreshing and tasty, nice floral hops, mosaic hops, I really liked it, I love Hibiscus, those who do not, maybe will not like this beer as much as I do, Great Beer, Great cause — 10 years ago
Pine, hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and a touch skunk but great with Sichuan! — 10 years ago
2005 vintage - a flash wine with perfumed nose of flowers & herbs - restrained fruit with some subtle age character - no complaints! — 10 years ago
The label claims 6 lbs. of hops per barrel...crazy. — 10 years ago
Very very very good! The best portuguese wine I've ever tasted! I harmonized with red flash and pizza and it was good with both! — 11 years ago
Light but flavorful. Great beer. — 11 years ago
