Gaia (Gaia's Estate)

Anatolikos Nemea Agiorgitiko 2006

Amazing dessert wine, similar but, for me, better than Vin Santo. Sweet, vanilla and cinnamon notes with a hint of... xmas... gluhwein...? Go for it! — 8 years ago

Gaia (Gaia's Estate)

Nótios Nemea Agiorgitiko Syrah 2005

Nice wine! Somewhat surprisingly, went great with a delicate baked cod and vegetables. — 9 years ago

Ritinitis Nobilis Retsina

Weird in a good way. Punchy acid, green green fruits and sourness just towing the line but staying on the correct side. 10/10 Would hit again — 9 years ago

Gaia (Gaia's Estate)

Red Dry Agiorgitiko 2015

Attractive nose - cherry, red plum, red currant, cranberry, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, toast. Cherry even more expressive on the palate too, finish not quite that long. — 8 years ago

Gaja

Pieve Santa Restituta Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2012

Oh. Oh. Oh. This Gaia Brunello will blow you over. Plum. Tobacco. Tar. Dark chocolate. All on the nose. This wine is sexy, just hits all the rights spots. Silky, soft....lingers and is just on point. Go big or go home. We are going big. #brilliant — 9 years ago

Gaja

Barbaresco Nebbiolo 1958

1958 vintage. Served by Gaia Gaja at the Gaja winery. Pale ruby hue. Earthy, manure, hint of morrel mushroom, not a whole lot of fruit - mature. On the palate, medium plus acidity and body, medium alcohol, medium minus integrated tannins and medium plus finish. Still very much alive although doubt it will get better from here. Very good. NB: still going strong after 1.5hr in glass. Remarkable. — 10 years ago
