Drinking with Stan and Claire and Vivi. Nicely Orange in color. Muddled Tamarind and packaged mandarin. Soft wood smoke. Complex and interesting. Mildly boozy. Kombucha. — 8 years ago
Attractive nose - cherry, red plum, red currant, cranberry, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, toast. Cherry even more expressive on the palate too, finish not quite that long. — 8 years ago
Nice wine! Somewhat surprisingly, went great with a delicate baked cod and vegetables. — 9 years ago
Weird in a good way. Punchy acid, green green fruits and sourness just towing the line but staying on the correct side. 10/10 Would hit again — 9 years ago

Deep and dry served bone chilling cold and perfect when you need a rose to stand up to spice and meaty food. — 10 years ago
2011 - great drink. Pure. Supposedly no sulphur. — 11 years ago
Savoury, structured, super textural. Sulphuric. — 12 years ago
Special & delicious, would be perfect with just a touch more acid. Which is not to say it is overripe; on the contrary, it is hella austere. — 6 years ago
Nose is a bit ripe and tomatoey. Weird. Mint? Some dead leaves. New wood. Bleh. — 6 years ago

Amazing dessert wine, similar but, for me, better than Vin Santo. Sweet, vanilla and cinnamon notes with a hint of... xmas... gluhwein...? Go for it! — 8 years ago
Superb oaky and complex — 9 years ago

1958 vintage. Served by Gaia Gaja at the Gaja winery. Pale ruby hue. Earthy, manure, hint of morrel mushroom, not a whole lot of fruit - mature. On the palate, medium plus acidity and body, medium alcohol, medium minus integrated tannins and medium plus finish. Still very much alive although doubt it will get better from here. Very good. NB: still going strong after 1.5hr in glass. Remarkable. — 10 years ago
Great Agiorgitiko from Nemea! — 10 years ago
Honey, minerals, nuts...all my favorite things. Big acid, big texture — 10 years ago

Pairing with veal app to lobster ravioli. Great Gaia Wine at a relatively approachable price point. — 8 years ago
Oh. Oh. Oh. This Gaia Brunello will blow you over. Plum. Tobacco. Tar. Dark chocolate. All on the nose. This wine is sexy, just hits all the rights spots. Silky, soft....lingers and is just on point. Go big or go home. We are going big. #brilliant — 9 years ago

Doesn’t seem to be an exact match: Gualtallary Vineyards and Vino Organico. Another Cabo Costco find for $15. I think they claimed it was highly rated. Pleasant for the price point. Had with Italian take away. — 6 years ago
