Alpine, mineral freshness. Tiny producer in Val d’Aosta, blend of 70% Cornalin plus Fumin and Prëmetta. Light tannins, cranberry, crispy foliage, graphite. From Flatiron Wines. — 6 years ago
A great Fumin — 9 years ago
Tar, stewed red fruit, raspberries, and a whiff of something plastic/vinyl (geranium). The palate is bright fruit with cherry compote and super smoky. Good length on the palate - drink over the next 5-7 years. — 10 years ago
Gamey, dark berries, black pepper, tar. Long licorice sweet finish, though this recedes as it opens. Acidity and body medium, tannins soft. Needs some air to round out, then really pleasant. This is an indigenous grape related and similar to Fumin. — 11 years ago
