Well that might the best $24 I spent. Couldn’t pass up a late vintage release. — 5 years ago
Earth, blackberry, blackcurrant, anise, nice acidity, mellow tannins. Fair amount of funk but manageable. Interesting overall — 6 years ago

Mayolet, by itself, is a cousin of fumin: very dark when poured, but very light. The sad part, though, is that there is very little Mayolet. — 5 years ago
In a perfect place! — 6 years ago
Alpine, mineral freshness. Tiny producer in Val d’Aosta, blend of 70% Cornalin plus Fumin and Prëmetta. Light tannins, cranberry, crispy foliage, graphite. From Flatiron Wines. — 7 years ago

This is Fumin Junior, with much more acidity. Besides that, there are heavy dark fruit flavors. This is much more explosive with heavy pasta and very spicy meat sauce. Wonderful! — 6 years ago

My first fumin. Dark fruit, earth, spice, leather. For a wine that was 6 years old, it still had a remarkable Alpine freshness to it that I found to be very exciting. Will definitely try others! 90% Fumin, 10% Syrah. 8/14/22. — 4 years ago
