Pale yellow in color. Bright and full on the palate. Light fruit and honey, with a hint of peach at the end. Refreshing. — 4 months ago
Dry-Farmed, a bit of Cabernet Franc in mix, aged 20 months in mostly neutral French oak barrels. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and cassis with espresso, cinnamon and earthy spice notes. Well balanced, lively acidity, fine tannins, long ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco spice! Nice! — 5 months ago
This is a holiday treat! Wonderful tannins with notes of vanilla perhaps for good measure. — 9 months ago
Has a lot going on. Opened this vintage a couple years ago but it has since evolved. Complex yet delicate. — 10 months ago

I bought some corked bottles and some screw cap bottles. This is for the corked one. At 13 years old it’s tasting great! I’m expecting the screw caps to be just as good. — 5 months ago

Dark ruby with purple edges. Great nose, full bodied, good oak. — 4 months ago
Decant and pour. A splendid dark purplish garnet color. On the nose: inviting aeromatics jump from the glass with dark cherry jam, graphite, herbaceous, vanilla oak, floral. Taste: blackberry/black cherry, crushed stone ,tar, spice, and a medium plus tannic kick me wine. Like to try again in a few years. — 4 months ago
Nicole gave it a 9, me and 8.5. Nice cab, slightly strong finish. — 10 months ago
Dark Ruby. Lovely aromatics, violets, roses, flower garden that blossomed into a nice layered flavor trove of chocolate dipped cherry and toasted cinnamon stick. Perfect compliment to a NY Strip. — 7 years ago
I love Stags Leap and this one is crazy reasonable and so good. Cherry flavored, soft on pallet. Beautiful wine. — 10 years ago
